YANG is an instrumental rock band made of 2 guitars, bass and drums created in 2002 and based in the south of France and Germany (Berlin).
Besides being often compared to King Crimson, press reviews also evoke Math Rock and Heavy Prog to describe the band.

Shylock

Created in 1974, Shylock disbanded in 1979 after recording 2 albums, Gialorgues and Ile de Fièvre for CBS.  Their popularity grew up until 2012, when they have been invited back on stage to perform in festivals. They play a symphonic/experimental instrumental progressive rock.

Philharmonie

Starting out as an electric guitar trio in 1987, Philharmonie recorded two albums and toured extensively before adding drums for three more records. The band ended its career as a trio, but this time with guitar, Warr guitar and drums. They recorded a total of five albums, four of which were released on the American label Cuneiform Records.
